Must of us participated in the bubble tea (boba tea) thread a while back... i am still trying to find this stuff here in my area... as i was doing some research on this stuff, i found something VERY interesting...

this site doesnt look familiar does it?

if you are going to rip off a site, at least DONT steal an extremely popular website's layout..

If I remember this correctly, a similar situation came up before regarding this "similarity". I seem to recall that the Anandtech homepage is actually a template of some kind in the ColdFusion Development kit or something. It's not a total rip if that's the truth. There are some people here who know this already.

They merely stole the template - the visual look of the site, none of the content. Anandtech.com probably uses a script (most likely Coldfusion since they already use that for the forums) to update it based on the current news and articles as submitted by the writers.
