Personally i would have to go with Circuit City. Every time i buy stuff from there they try to help me, instead vice versa, they ask if i want the warranty ONCE, and it's not always freaking loud as hell blasting rap music. Plus i like their no excuse return policy. Don't need to make up stuff or tell them reasons just to return.

Gotta say Best Buy. I have shopped there so often that I know the entire staff. And I get great deals (extra money taken off) and they treat me really well. the Circuit City near me is always dirty and the staff is not that great.

:)

Wow that is just the opposite of my experience.

Bestbuy does better deals, but Circuit City is definitely upscale from BB.

I expect neither staff to be all that knowledgeable, but I would say CC has a lot more people out on the floor and that staff is marginally more helpful.

Returns are handled with much less fanfare at CC.

A Best Buy drone once tried to sell me a $40 warranty on a $40 keyboard. WTF. And their employees, at least locally, are way more jerky than at CC.

All of the CC's I have ever been to have been staffed by utter retards. Not to mention their store layout is unfriendly and just total crap. BB by a mile for me.

Oh man.... not even close. The employees who lie.... the rudeness.... the total lack of knowledge about items in their department, the extended warranties... did i mention the lies? Best Buy is in a category all by themselves, at the bottom. This doesn't mean Circuit City is perfect, or that all best buys and/or best buy employees fit this description, but overall they have quite a reputation. Circuit City, no contest.

CC by miles. Best Buy treats their customers like crap (probably worse that that actually) and never take no for an answer on their extended warranties. BB always seems understaffed and can never answer any of my questions. I don't expect them to know lots of techical info, but they can't even answer simple questions like where i could find a certian cable or where the CD-R's are and such.

BB has asshole employees while CC has employees that really doesn't care about you. Since I don't like being bothered, I say CC

i really havent been to best buy, but circuit city tried to screw us before when we tried to return a computer that started smoking and sizzling one time it was turned on. They tried to charge us a 15% restocking fee but we caused a scene once the manager was called out and didnt have to pay it.

gotta go with Circuit City because I don't have to drive 20 minutes to get to the closest one.

also for the fact that of the last deal I got at either, Circuit City was closer and a better deal. (2 160gb WD SE drives for $22)

CC. The store is nice, and I like the TV layout. Hell, I watched the first rd of the NFL Playoffs in HD at my local CC.
