What do the Police have to hide? What are they afraid of?
We have many documented instances of journalists/media being abused by the Police during these protests/riots!!
If it were not for all journalists including FOX peeps I am sure this would be a lot worse and possibly even bloodier!
Lets use this thread to document all the journalist abuse from the last 8 days until this whole mess ends...
will also link to the CNN team being arrested and there are a lot more instances --

From what I've heard, this is sadly not unusual behavior from the police. The unusual part is their actions towards national journalists supported by large corporations.

The last few years has been like watching a live action version of "It Can't Happen Here".

How do you fix such a widespread problem without the complete dismantling of scores or more Police Departments? Even the "Good Cops" have been corrupted by a system that treats their line of work as Government Thugs and little else. Which brings up the other problem, Politics. The GOP has gone full Authoritarian, but even the Democrats have a streak of it. At this point it might only be fixable by breaking up the country itself so that those who wish to rise above it can do so by minimizing the elements and Legal restrictions that make the status quo possible.

I was led to believe that departments with the most success involved dismantling and bringing in lots of new folk.

Once cops hit the 5 year mark, if that darkness has taken hold it tends to stay there.

Here’s a good link—I think this site came out of Columbia’s Journalism Review and was started in 2017... you know, the year a wannabe authoritarian came to power in the US on a platform of attacking the press.

Nobody likes to have their skid marked skivvies hoisted up the 'ol flag pole for all to see, especially when it comes to killing people they were sworn to protect.
