I traveled to South Deerfield,MA today to visit the flagship Yankee Candle store/village with a g/friend from work. I visited Rossman's forum and printed up a bunch of $10 off $25 dollar coupons to take with us.

It was 2 1/2 hours driving each way but so worth it, I have never seen so many candles in all my life, the place was done up in a breath taking fashion, they even had an indoor snow machine in their Bavarian town display room.

We had a fabulous lunch, shopped till we dropped and made several trips thru the registers in order to use several coupons. Between clearnce items and coupon codes we saved quite a bit of cash.

LOL,Women outnumbered men about 50 to 1, one fellow I saw looked so miserable you'd have thought he was walking on his way to be executed 😀

I did also manage to stop at liquidation store and picked up a hot deal on hot coco, also managed a trip thru circuit city for a few more goodies for my guys 🙂
 
Miserable being outnumbered by woman? Was he gay? Was he someplace where he'd be miserable anyway? 😵

It was a great day, we laughed and listened to Xmas music and just totally relaxed and had fun 🙂

The Yankee Candle village is massive and there's so many different sorts of items to shop for and things to see/do there, I highly recommend the place.The sales staff without exception was not only helpful and polite, they were also fun !

it's quite obvious the only shopping trip you've been on is with your mommy 😛
 
my wife goes to the US to shop twice a month. she loves Somerset mall over there.

i bring a book and sit on benches when i go, although i haven't been to the mall in AGES 🙂 she gets one of her buddies to go instead :thumbsup:
