The always debated, super complex question:
What is the best brand of RAM? Corsair is the traditional answer, but newcomers are making a splash!

Please Make Three Votes, one each for these 3 categories: Overall Best, Best Overclocker, and Best Budget RAM

You can only vote once.

Umm, no they're not. Corsair kicks their @$$es, now and forever.
It's like pickles. Vlasic, or crap. Take your pick. (...course I chose crap cuz it was $50 cheaper, but I'm an idiot)

I think Corsair XMS is fantastic but the best RAM to me is the one where you get the best bang for your buck. That all depends on thesales too. Samsung's 512mb DDR 2700 for $110 at newegg is awesome. OCers can spend the extra $50-60 on the Corsair but the average joe has no need.

"Best" is course relative

What about TwinMOS?! I haven't tried it...yet, but some people have said it's promising.

I vote for crucial simply because in the 200 or so sticks of memory i've purchased from them, they have had the best compatibility, stability, overall cost, and support of anyone i've dealt with.

OMG..... :Q is that OCZ's memory stick with enhanced latency ... :| "enhanced latency m@ @$$"

i am surprised that anyone put any OCZ products on a poll for "best" of something
it should probably be put on a poll of "which product made u think you've been ripped off"

mestickto Corsair XMS

Agreed, where is Crucial, I see that name pop up more for quality memory than anything else in here.

Not voting until that gets put in....

It's there. Right under Mushkin regular. ;)

J/K Crucial's great, but usually expensive, and doesn't really care to cater to the enthusiast market. NOT THAT THAT MAKES THEM BAD! Just that some in here won't vote for them for that reason.

I wonder how many people have actually used all those brands to answer the question truthfully :)

just so folks know, XMS C2 is now outdated by the LL (low latency) modules. C2 runs at 2-3-3-7 for 3200, while LL is at 2-2-2-6! so, frankly, unless you think LL has a problem or is just way too pricey, then I wonder why you vote C2?
