I know. I've got a half dozen starships on my tree but they are all hallmark ornaments.

So is that the original movie NCC-1701 or the Star Trek 4 and subs NCC-1701 A?

Edit never mind. Just saw it's the A

Hey!

Just because I have these ornaments :
  • a gold 50th anniversary Enterprise circa the original series
  • the Reliant from Wrath of Kahn
  • Enterprise A from ST IV
  • Enterprise C from the Next Gen Episode Yesterday's Enterprise
  • Three nacelle Enterprise D from the very last Next Gen Episode All Good Things
  • USS Kelvin from 2009 Star Trek

Doesn't make me a nerd. (Some of these are my wife's ;) )

My husband has been collecting the ST ornaments for years and has a running subscription to Eaglemoss for the desktop miniatures. They've taken over most of a closet.

I am not allowed to touch any of it.

It's a Bandai 1:850 lighted pre-painted model. (14 inches long) Only sold in Japan, you can find them on Ebay, but they're out of production, so you'll only find unopened collectors kits for a couple hundred. They come in refit, A, E, D and NX-01. The refit id the most expensive, the NX-01 cheapest.

Bandai is now making the same type of kits for Star Wars.

I'm in the process of building a Polar Lights 1:350 TOS Enterprise with full effects lighting and open shuttle bay.
