The Twin Towers are in Spider Man DVD! (Easter Egg)

I was watching Spider Man on DVD and saw the Twin Towers! Look below I took a couple screens of the DVD!

I must say my roommate and I were pretty shocked to see it, I wonder if it was added to the dvd after the movie release, or if it was in there the whole time! At any rate I am glad they did something to commemorate the WTC. When the scene is put into context, it is very tasteful and I doubt most anyone would really look for it or even notice it. But once you see it, you will never miss it again.

I think that was added after the fact. I remember reading something about it somewhere, but I can't remember exactly what it was it said.

Cool, I'll have to check it out. My Spiderman DVD is being passed back and forth between coworkers at the moment . . . I have become an unoffical DVD lending library. Next week should be good, with LOTR: Director's Cut and AOTC.

What do you mean by after the fact? Do you mean after the movie release, or after 9/11. I just checked a copy of the movie release I got back when the movie was in the theatre, and sure enough it was in there then. So it looks like they either kept it in or added it after 9/11.

I thought it was after 9/11. I could be mistaken, though (and more than likely am, I'm quite forgetful sometimes ). I think that they removed the scenes where Spidey was swinging between the towers and added the reflections instead. Like you said, though, very tasteful.

yeah, that's cool, i'll have to look for that next time i watch it, i've only seen it once on the big-screen, i'll get the DVD someday

Your point being, for someone who lives in a country where someone can succesfully sue a company for the temperature of her coffee after putting the cup in her lap while driving? People would whine, if not sue for psychological damage.

I guess what happend was that they had the towers in the movie to begin with and after 9/11 they took it out.. I guess this was just a small part that they left in.

thats a pretty awesome trailer. the web in between the towers was nice, although just showing it like that during the theatrical release probably would have had some psycological effect on sensitive people.
