So I bought this scalpel on ebay and it has paid for its self already since buying it last year. I find that I use it mostly to open those pain in the ass plastic blister packs that seem like everything comes in now a days. The scalpel cuts right into the plastic freeing your newly bought item very easily. I've cut cardboard and opened and old caulking tube with little effort with my scalpel as well. Great replacement for the X-acto knife. You can buy a scalpel on ebay and they even have the replacement blades. I guess scalpels come in different sizes and this one happens to be a #4. Here is a video I did demonstrating the scalpel. I had to use my digital camera since the digital camcorder battery was low.
