Perhaps my cynicism is showing... but who determines what is trusted? Is it a government agency with an interest in backdoors, a massive software company with an agenda to remove the open source movement, a leading hardware company, or a murky oligarchy of all of the above?

THAT is why is we need to be vigilant, and it is a good idea to turn this off in your hardware, and not use software that uses it. Support software, hardware, and in general, companies that produce products and give services that do not use this.

THAT is why is we need to be vigilant, and it is a good idea to turn this off in your hardware, and not use software that uses it. Support software, hardware, and in general, companies that produce products and give services that do not use this.

I agree. I'd still feel safer with linux.
