OMG, could NBC be pushing this thing down our throats any harder? That's a lot of advertising. Looks like it'll suck IMO. The only funny-ish bit seems to be that smart-alecky seven year old... and I doubt he can carry 22 minutes by himself.
 
I never thought he was funny. He has the same problem that Colin Quinn had on SNL...

HE CAN'T READ CUE CARDS WITHOUT SOUNDING LIKE A RETARD!
 
Good point. The only Tracy morgan skits I ever liked on SNL were the "Brian Fellow's Safari Show" and "Astronaut Jones," both of which basically hinged on his inability to act.

So it is the obnoxious guy from those EA Sports commercials. I'll just add that to the list of shows I will never watch.
 
i saw the trailer....looks pretty funny, but a little generic.

Tracy Morgan is stereotypical good natured father, with macho guy issues. Mom is sensible (and hot). Youngest kid is cute and blurts out one-liners. Oldest kid (remember the PeoplePC kid?) is growing up and learning lessons from his dad. That one black guy from Friday (Ice Cube's dad), who is in SO many black-sitcoms, is in it too.

The TM Show has it's funny moments. Hopefully the writing will stay fresh.

Oh, IC's dad in Friday (John Witherspoon) is awesome. He may be the saving grace for the show. I loved him in Boomerang:

"You've got to whoop that pu$$y. BANG BANG BANG BANG!" 🙂

he is funny, but he plays the exact same character in everything he does 😀

i think he did that finger-licking-after-he-eats-chicken thing in the pilot 😛
