I used to live near number 8.

Yeah, I drive through the Plano, TX one when going to the mall there. I didn't think it is really dangerous, but the whole thing is just so *wide* and without markings, I could see how people could get confused and inadvertantly change lanes.

Should have known you were from Texas;)

Agree, that intersection is death...

I always found the Park and Preston one worse.

I like the Iowa list. Seven of ten of the intersections are in Davenport. I don't live in Iowa, but I'm about 45 minutes from Davenport and I go shopping there fairly regularly.

I know #10 pretty well. I actually like driving through that intersection. 6 lane road that's policed by a red-light camera.

Fair Oaks and Howe? What makes that dangerous? The fact that it's the first major intersection by the Sac State dorms? I'm "sorta" near there now and used to drive it daily for years while in school.

The infamous Van *** Ave and 18 Mile intersection in Sterling Heights is close to making the top 10.

Fair Oaks and Howe. Oddly enough, I might be driving through there tomarrow.

It's two blocks from where I'm sitting now. I've been living and working here for three years now, and I've NEVER seen an accident there.

im suprised how FCUKED up traffic is in sacto compared to LA(where i used to live) it totally pisses me off having to wait at a red light for 10 minutes...

hmm... 0 on the entire list for NY???!

yeah... and 0 from Cali too...

What about number 10?

I'll bet a part of the equation for the danger index is dividing by how many cars on average pass through the intersection, thus ruling out most parts of NYC and LA.

Highest ranked intersection in Iowa is 408 and 7 of the 10 worst in Iowa are in one city (Davenport).
