Their politics doesn't concern me per se. They're perfectly welcome to give their $Bs to the .gov to achieve proper income distribution or whatever. They'll all make sure to buy the needed votes in congress to make sure that their investments aren't over taxed. After all their wealth is in their investments, not in earned income.

So stop giving investment income preferential tax rate is a good start.

Those 26 have done more than those 3.8 billion put together to advance humanity including those 3.8b folks. Wouldn’t matter if it was 38 billion folks if they’re subsistence farmers who are basically kept alive by the charity of the industrialized nations.

Don't be jealous. These fine people have broken their backs day in and day out for every penny.

Richest people have done world changing stuff like standardizing computer OSs worldwide, creating social media, inventing web commerce and cloud services as we know it, creating database manage to system standards for the world, created microprocessors, etc.

The 3.8b may have built a mud hut once and piss in an open trench toilet while trying to avoid starving to death.

Thousands of people developed the things you listed.

LOL even if I concede your point for sake of argument the billionaires still led the efforts and the work of those thousands is still orders of magnitude more important than everything ever done by the 3.8b combined.

That's farcical.
