Frustrating as hell, I hardly know when I press the mouse button. Feels like I have a string around the end and blood is coming into it but not going out fast enough.

Should I see a doctor about this?

That means you have AIDS in your finger. Best cut it off before it spreads.

You could be like me and cut the tip of your middle finger off with a utility knife. The end of that finger has been numb feeling ever since.

You went beyond the allowed 2.5 billion mouse clicks per finger per person. Now start using your middle finger.

You might have the diabetes in your finger :)
But seriously, get it checked. That's how I found out I was type 1. Had this numbness in my leg

Not cutting of my finger, cut a bit of my thumb a few years ago, but it got better. Dont want to go throught that again.

Could be the mouseclicks, stupid finger GUI doesnt have a counter for number of clicks:|

Guess I will just have to post about it on ATOT for a while :)

Yeah, you better go to the doctor to get checked out for diabetes.

Does it run in your family? Are you overweight/obese? Do you smoke? Do you eat unhealthy? Do you make any other bad lifestyle decisions?

Only a doctor will be able to diagnose--best figure it out now than later when it could be too late.

I told this to rachelmb (ex-girlfriendish) and she never acted on it--it worried me and made me mad.

Diabetes? damnit

Strange, doesnt run in my family, in fact I dont know anyone who has it. I'm not overweight, work out two to three times a week. Dont eat unhealthy, just average I think. Dont smoke either.

Well, with regards to your post after mine--I would say that you are in the clear. I forgot to ask your age, too.

I'd still go to the doctor if it keeps up the rest of the day.

I had a couple fingers go numb, though it was due to carpal tunnel methinks. You know how it is, the whole pain in the wrist, then cold hand, then random fingers numbing. It's enough to make you ambidextrous!

I cut the tip of my left index finger off and it hurt like a b1tch for weeks and for a good year afterward, it hurt if I hit it on anything. I wish it had gone numb.

it seems like a joint in your hand is pinching off the nerve. just go get it adjusted and you'll be fine. if it was something in your neck or elbow, you'd lose feeling in your thumb and index finger together (they both belong to the c6 dermatome).

since it's just your index finger, it's more than likely a pinched nerve in your finger or wrist. like i said, just get it adjusted and you'll be right as rain

sounds like microemboli from a massive brachial atherosclerotic plaque due to familial hypercholestrolemia... sorry only a few years before you stroke out and die :(
