Can someone explain the ending to me? I can't seem to understand why all the creatures dissapeared.

Because they were a series, and they kept getting half as big until they converged into nothing. Theoretically, they never really disappeared, but in the real world, you'd never see them again.

Say what, I thought that the Time Machine blew up or they were transported into the past or future were they couldn't survive or maybe because the Time Machine was purposely overloaded they were just vaporized.

The time machine overloaded, exploded and unleashed a fatal wave of chronoton particles that disrupted the chronospacial density of everything w/in the time machine's blast radius...

the ending was stupid. The entire movie was spent teaching the guy that you can't escape fate, but he just doesn't listen.

now he's stuck in the future and those freaks from other parts of the world will come and take over the village.

Actually the reason he couldn't change his girlfriends fate was because the time machine existed. If she had lived and they got married then the Time Machine would not have been invented at all. Her death was the precursor to the Time machine.

And once agian I would like to say how good the orignal film is compared to this cheesy remake.

I actually liked this better than the original. I guess it's because I didn't grow up in the 60's and everything seemed so cheesy to me.
