Started working out, lost 30 lbs, gained muscle. On top of that, a girl just last week asked if I was a model! Flattering. Girls look at me and smile, yet I've spent so much time being chubby I've seem to forget how to flirt.
Started school again, after being out of school for so long. Hold a GPA of 3.6 after my first semester while balancing a full time job; I don't know how the hell I pulled that one off!
Speaking of job, my boss loves my performance at work. Got a raise. Not a big raise, but enough to make my life happier. I'm hoping to get promoted or positioned into a better job next year. Cha-ching $$$.
Edit: Forgot to add that I quit smoking after a 3 year, pack-a-day, habbit. Smoke free for 7 months!
I hope the next year brings nothing but good things for both me and you. As it seems, now at the end of this year, I've forgotten all the hardship I went through to get where I am. All the death on the news and war on the screen, seems but nothing more than fading background music of a memorable year. Atrocious as that might sound, as civilized people we must move on. We celebrate the New Year for only visualizing the great things to come, as it's not necessary to think of any peril that may forgo our hopes and dreams.
I wish you all the same. And no, I would not like a group hug. 🙂
