I can't fathom why the media and many users here find it okay to call the day after Thanksgiving "Black Friday". I understand many stores have sales and low pricing on this date, and apparently find it funny to make fun of African Americans who maybe couldn't afford to shop on a normal day. So the so called "black people" get there own day to shop. News flash people, not all African Americans are poor. This site even has it's own forum bearing this despicable racial slur. This makes me want to vomit.

You are the first person I know to relate the term to black people, never crossed my mind before. (In Canada btw, we had thanksgiving on Oct 13th)
