And to find the 30-odd reciepes among the 1 800 posts ... ;)
It is much easier to ignore it all. :D

Maybe I'll start posting recipes every time I cook something....

So, I took a nap until the urge went away.

I wish I could sleep tonight... I'm just so backlogged with work.

I have on call duty tonight. I'll sleep like a log - and will be woken at least 4 times after midnight ... :(

I'm too old for that stuff anymore. I used to do it all the time, but nowadays I'm in bed by/before 10PM always.

Back in the late 70's I could stay up for several days in a row playing Adventure all night every night on a DEC PDP 11 at the University then working all day then playing all night. I did become a Grand Master, and had a lot of fun with text based gaming on Unix...

I feel like I have. Seems like my pills aren't working as well as they used to. The worst is when I'm drugged and still can't sleep.

My on call duty will be done in 2 hours. No sleep at all tonight - full production.
Before I go to sleep tonight it will be at least 10 more hours of work and 2 - 3 more hours of not being able to sleep -- way too long for a 50+ guy. :(

OTOH: 32 hours of continuous work: the first 8 hours at normal pay, then 4 hours at normal pay * 1.5, then 11 hours at double pay and the remaining 9 hours at * 1.5 times the normal pay ... not too shabby. If it is worth it? I do not know anymore. Three years ago I would have said "yes, absolutely", but today?

Nah, not worth it. Unless of course that`s the only hours you work all week. ;)

Yay Friday! And the wife is gone for the upcoming week, so you know what that means...

Eating lots of cereal, trying to remember to eat, cleaning and organizing the office, making limoncello, homework... hehe. You didn't think I'd say something else, did you?

Yep. She's already been making jokes about me. So I figure it's okay to post what she says here. My wife is too good to me. :)

For me, it means working, sleeping, and doing laundry. Possibly cooking and baking. With some video games. :p

Either that or you want me to hen peck you like I do my hubby!

Why would a nice lady like you hen peck your hubby? When you could hen peck your hubby's brother .... or his computers.
I'd rather take the hen, cook it and post the reciepe here in the thread ... Cheers!

Exactly my thoughts! A hen peck is to a friend or relative. My gf deserves more than just a peck. She gets a kiss. A nice one too.

And now I'm in the mood for grilled chicken with a ...

EDIT: And I prefer Shiba Inus over Basenjis.

Hmmm. Working on my limoncello... Did the double filtering, adding one more bottle of vodka. Now I need to cook the simple sugar (18 cups of sugar, 18 cups of water), and add the remaining bottles of vodka. Only problem is, I can't find them. Hmmmm.

Anyone know if the vodkows stole my two 1.75L bottles? :(

Yes, they did. I saw it the day before yesterday. :(
The sherrif caught the cows, conficated the vodka, and put the cows in his stable. :)
I saw he has opened a new vodka-store!

It is Saturday morning ... sun is up. I don't want this week end to end.

Hmmmm. I drank some vodka. Was it yours? I bought it from some trust-worthy looking cows.

Well, in the past 91 hours, I've gotten maybe 12 hours of sleep....

yes; the trustworthy looking cows probably talked you into a deal with distributed.net, like 1bottle=100credits...
