Team Anandtech that is,

As of yesterday the RC5-64 project is half way done, and team anandtech is running out of time to beat the DPC, we need you ALL of you to join us in the great fight to beat the dutch power cows.

If Cracking code isn't somthing you are interested in, we also participate in many other projects and even ones that can save lives and you can too!

To learn more head over to the distributed computing forum, or TeamAnandTech.com and help us out. we are more then happy to answer any of your questions and would be thrilled to see you stop in and join us.

Thank you for your time.
Narzy - Team AnandTech = because a cycle is a terrible thing to waste...

Also, if any of you are interested in any other projects, we'll be more then glad to help you get going on them

Other projects we're involved in
UD (cancer cure)
OGR
ECCP-109
Gammaflux
Seti
Folding@home

Has a Naked Cracker, my primary project is RC5. I also do some OGR and ECCP-109 for Team Anandtech.

I've been cracking for over a year now! It's easy, fun, and makes use of fast CPUs! I highly recommend all of you try it - the stats are great.

I've been involved with the hunt for ET radio stations pretty much since it started, seti@home has 3,066,011 registered users representing an estimated 10 million computers. (my estimate, I believe to be conservative)
As a project it shows that distributed computing is a very good model for achieving work on a grand scale. The project has logged 633,215.727 years of cpu time in the slightly more than two years of it's life. This has staggering implications for any large computing model, and current thinking is to use distributed computing more efficiently to come up with real answers to difficult problems. Cures for diseases, Chemical analysis for pharmaceuticals, genetics - we are limited only by our imagination.

This and many more interesting, challenging and funny threads can be seen and commented on in the Distributed Computing Forum here at AnandTech! Stop by to find out more!

RC5-64 has a prize. UD has a for profit project and prizes. and all the tababes for a week if you join!

Frustrated cuz your cpu temp always goes down when ur bacon is almost done?? Well this is your solution! Guarntees a constent temp so cook away! BTW: it doesnt do any harm though!

<< i dont see what we get out of it? >>

You'll be helping out Anandtech, therefore supporting the forum that you're on right now; all the information and friends you've gained from it.

For Dnet, the client takes like 3 to 4 minutes to setup at most. Another minute the next day to join the team. thats all it takes. If you never want to look at your stats or mess with the client, you don't have to do it! It will just crack away, but I bet you'll get hooked on the stats like the rest of us. There are also so many projects to choose from, so don't feel you just have to do one thing. Although, we are on a mission to knock the Dutch Power Cows out of the # 1 spot and return it to the rightfull owners(US!!)

If anyone need any help or has questions, just hit the Distributed Computing forums. There are plenty of people to help
