Or at least the first version is.
So what is the Team Anandtech ECCp Installer (TAEI)? The TAEI installs MereMortal's optimized GUI client on Windows systems. The TAEI features such things as a nice TA image when it first loads (thanks to nagger), an uninstaller, optional Start Up folder icons creation, and most importantly, a simple GUI configuration program. No longer will you have to mess with manually creating a userinf.txt and eccp109.ini. Just fill in some blanks, check some boxes, and let the TAEI take care of the rest. So what are you waiting for? Download the TAEI and help the TeAm today!
Download the Team Anandtech ECCp Installer (only 946KB so it fits on a floppy)
Known limitations:
Due to a client bug, selecting the install target folder is disabled. It will always install to (system_drive)\eccp109. For example, Win2K runs on drive E on my system so the client would be installed in E:\eccp109
The client configuration program doesn't do much disk and file checking. If you have previous userinf.txt and eccp109.ini files, it will overwrite them if you click the Save Options and Exit button.
Right now, the configuration program is only available while installing. The second version will have a more fully featured configuration program.
No ReadMe files or other documentation at this time. I was more concerned with getting the basics working.
