I find the topid a bit mobid, yet fasinating.
Does anyone any good before and after shots?
How much can plastic surgery really do for a peron?
 
plastic surgery was invented as a means to enhance and define your existing looks. if a surgeon performs too much, the patient's face will swell up and contort like a balloon.
 
have you tried the website? it shows before and after for four of the contestants. don't know how often it's updated though.

Or end up looking like Michael Jackson.

One of the overlooked problems with extensive plastic surgery when it turns out really well is in imagining how the kids will look..
 
The Swan is just another reason why "non-pretty" girls will have low self esteem. Hell, at the end of each episode, one gets the axe because she's STILL not pretty enough. Yeah, it's a great message.

What I don't understand is people like you that absolutely hate this show or others, yet it's clearly marked on the title topic that this thread is about said show. THEN, you decide to come on in anyhow and crap on the discussion (small or large).

Some people make no sense to me. If you hate it as much as you say, seems like we wouldn't have to worry about hearing your bellyaching about it, seems as if you'd stay away if you could.

I don't hate the show. I hate the premise behind the show. I think the premise is pretty sick and disgusting.

From the title of the thread, "the swan," this seemed like the logical place to discuss the show, whether you hate it, or if you're fvcked in the head.

I'm all for allowing free expression on the airwaves. I'm not advocating the show being taken off the air. However, I also feel the right to express my opinion.
 
We've watched a couple of times. As I said the first time, these women don't need surgery (though it does an AMAZING Job on making some of them not as vomitous, though calling them hot afterwards is exageratting); they need psychiatric help. To a one (of the two shows we saw), they had severe psycholical issues. They'd cry at the drop of a hat, had lower self-esteem than a slave, and were basically pathetic people. It's sad to watch them.

Anyway, the hostess for that show is the real swan. She's a hottie.

Well another thing is that I've no doubt the majority of these girls will go back to their former ways and habits. Although some of them had rock-crunching teeth before hand and those teeth will stay the same, in terms of hair and excercise and diet they'll be sure to let themselves go.
