Some of those cars looked really out of place. The classics were awesome, and the exotics were cool... but why so many C5 Vettes? Why two (at least) late 90's / early 2000's Trans Ams? Quite a few later generation Mustangs too, and at least one classic coupe (a dime a dozen unless there are hidden details) parked in the corner near the beginning. They're all cars I would personally love to own, but they seem to pale in comparison to half the other stuff in there.

Maybe each of them has a story behind them, or something unique that make them collectible. If it was my personal collection, though, I'd aim to have at least one car of each generation / major style change (for example, for Mustangs: 64-66, 67-68, 69, 70-72, Mustang II, Fox Body, SN95, New Edge, S197, and throw in some Shelbys, Saleens, Cobras, etc.), and as many low production / rare cars as possible. Line them all up against a wall and you have your own story line or evolution chain.

All those cars and only one AC Cobra? For shame.

And the funniest part, you'd think he'd be able to afford a decent garage with stalls to put the cars in.

I got to see a private car collection similar to that a few months ago here in Cypress, CA. Guy owns one of every Corvette made between 1953 and 1971 along with a number of old Oldsmobiles (442's, 1950s convertibles, an old Woodie, and a 1920's Olds). He also has a Ferrari Dino, a couple late 60s Camaro's, a Porsche 911 Targa, an Amphibious car and a Shelby Series 1 convertible of which there were less than 300 made.

That Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione is amazing. He also had the brand new Lamborghini Reventon.

That might be the most amazing collection of cars I've ever seen.

Very nice. Granted, hugely pointless to have so many cars you have to regularly top the batteries up. Crowded, too, it looks like a couple of those cars would require moving five out of the way to get at them.

i doubt that. leno isn't concerned with dollar value, fame or exclusivity. although his collection has many of the same cars, he's all about character.

Google says they are cousins but I don't know personally.

As for Jules' comments, my cousin is also trying to collect every model year of Vettes. I think he is 2 short right now or was last time I talked to him about it. He's a successful lawyer but not exactly wealthy, it's just his passion.

Yeah, it's weird - I've read that too, but more articles say that there's no relation...

I have no clue. I can't even dig up much information on the guy - I know he made his money in the title industry, but that's about it.

Incredible collection. Though it seems quite pointless for one person to own that many cars. Looked like a visitor accidently parked their late model GTO in there. Talk about out place among some of the jewels in that garage. I do love the RA6 GTO at 2:18, though. Can't be more than a handful of those floating around.
