The stupidity of some people amaze me

So I come out of my apt to go leave and I see a postal employee putting our mail for the complex into the mailboxes. I get my mail maybe once every two weeks because I pay all my bills online and the only thing I get is junkmail. So I go up there, open my mailbox and say, "This oughtta make it easier for ya". (My mailbox was getting full by this point). And I explain that I don't check my mail often because of where I pay my bills and my box gets full sometimes.

After this he tries to tell me that people have been breaking into "the email" and stealing identities. He then explained that someone around my area lost about 300,000 dollars.m Apparently he was on some postal investigation unit and people come into the post office wanting them to help them get their money back.

I say that you should only use a credit card since they usually are more secure and whatnot. He said yeah but they can get into "the email". I told him I found it humorous that an employee from USPS actually invented email and they sold it since they didn'tt hink they could make money. He said, "Bill Gates invented the internet". I corrected him, explaining about the ARPAnet and how TCP was invented in the 1960's. He basically shoo'd me off and said have a good day I hope it doesn't happen to you.

Cliff notes:
Postal worker doesn't shop online because Bill Gates wants to steal your information.

Baller alert.....

1. Why would someone who never checks their mailbox make it any easier for the mailman?
2. He's a postal worker, just agree with him! :Q
3. Hacking of "the email" is a very serious issue. Everyone knows that the centralized server that houses all of the world's e-mail is extremely vulnerable. I've heard it's not even firedoored :Q.
4. Profit?
