the stupid WinXP encryption question

Alright, I have ~4 computers on a home notwork all running Windows XP Pro and connected to a switch/router. Just for the hell of it, is there any way to encrypt the data behind the router (I assume there is nothing I can do on the other side)?

Yes u can. Search the M$ site for info on the IPsec driver. You can encrypt ALL of your LAN traffic using the built in 168bit 3DES IPsec driver.
In addition you can use the IPsec driver as a firewall as well if you know how to configure it porperly.
