If i recall correctly, Bill Kazmaier had a serious muscle injury there too. That was why he was so angry, defeating the pain.

Bill was so strong they actually forced him out of the Worlds Strongest Man competition for several years in the early 80's. For no reason other than he was too dominant.

If he had been allowed to compete those years he would be without a doubt the most decorated strong man ever.

This. Kaz was an incredible strongman and probably the greatest to ever do it. Whenever I do shrugs at the gym, they are to try and get to 5% of Kaz' incredible traps.
