The Stepford Wives

Does anyone else think this movie might be pretty cool? It has Christopher Walkin in it! Nicole Kidman is in it too for some eyecandy. 😛 Plus it's about female robots. How cool is that. lol. I'm gonna see it.

You guys haven't already seen this?
Wow, maybe I was wrong for thinking that it was a stupid choice to remake this movie.

The cast is solid, as long as they don't fck up the plot too much with 21st century bells, whistles, sex and violence. The good news is - Frank Oz directing, and at least he has a solid track record of not screwing the pooch.

The original movie was great, but it was shot in a style that just screams "1975!" I commented to my fiancee that it's a great plot, and if it is filmed in a more classic/timeless style, it could really be a winner.

The wife of a guy I work with is an extra in Stepford Wives. I'll probably watch just to see her.

Is there more to this then you're sharing?

Nope, she's in like 2 scenes... she even made the internet trailer, you can see the back of her noggin! (her husband was so proud about that one)

The original was not designed for eye-candy.

The youngsters looking for that type of movie will be unhappy

Chick movie with Bette Midler, Nicole Kidman, and Ferris Buehler.

Christopher Walken was funny on Letterman last night though.
