Easily one of the worst spin off holiday TV specials of all time. Worse than anything you can imagine from any other film. It is not only bad, but it goes on waaaaaaay too long. You say, "How bad can it be?" and "Oh I can sit through one viewing." But to those I say, worse than you can imagine, and no you can't.

I was a little kid when it aired in 1978. That night I pissed off my dad and he sent me to bed right after dinner knowing I would miss it (I was a HUGE Star Wars freak). I've resented him for it all these years. Even though it apparently sucked (still never watched it), I feel like I missed out on a once in a lifetime generational experience
