Tell me more about this supposed $100 Staples laptop. Is it going to be like the $99 CVS Netbook from a few years back? (ARM, WinCE 6.0, basically sucked bigtime.) I used that one to browse forums while on vaca.

Specifications are almost the same as Dell Venue 8 PRO tablet. Without word.
What is "missing" is screen resolution specification, touchscreen support, memory expansion, quality of keyboard information.
I expect a wireless mouse might be a very desirable add on.
To me appears to be an "answer" to Google Chrome laptops.

fwiw I am very happy with my Venue 8 PRO's performance.

There was a FW thread (now missing...?), that had a link to Staples' own page listing their in-store BF specials.
