The Sopranos

I used to love the show, but for me it seems the show has been progessively worse with each additional season. Season 1 and 2 were great. The others... meh. Last Season could've been great if....

***Spoiler from last season****
David Chase had gone with the Mob war between Johnny and Tony. Instead he copped out and they called a truce. I thought it was lame, and an example of what's gone wrong with the show the past couple of years.


Hopefully the final season does the series justice.
 
I thought season 4 was the weakest, but really thought that this last season it picked up nicely. Been watching the repeats on and off recently. Maybe the gf and I will start from the begining and try to watch all the eps before the new season starts...I love doing that with shows like the Sopranos because you pick up on all sorts of little things you'd normally miss from season to season.
 
I for one can't wait. The latest trailer on HBO seems really exciting. I wonder how Christopher is going to act, his anger level must be through the roof. I think he is going to play a major role next season.
 
debating whether to pay $15/mnth to dish network to get HBO for 4 months (atleast, that's how long sopranos will probably last) or to just torrent it and play on my divx player.
well........still have 4 more days to decide.......

I predict my cousin will be playing a doctor in at least one episode. Thank god it's a doctor - I heard she was going to be in it and thought it was cool at first then started to worry it would be something seedy.
 
I was hoping that they would explore Tony a bit more and watch him unravell a bit more untill the final episode, which I thought was going to happen after him and carmella split.. (Many think they will end the show with him dead).
Not sure why they got the two of them back together. We have been down that road before.
 
cant wait for the sopranos. I think this season is gonna be really good, Im glad my friend has HBO because I dont have it anymore.

we always drink a bottle of wine while watching the sopranos, for some reason it makes it even more enjoyable
 
I wonder if HBO noticed the drop in subscribers when the Sopranos went away for a year and a half, I guess it is time to add HBO to my cable service again 🙂
