Ben Veniste is so partisan you can smell it throught the television screen. He tried to hammer Dr. Rice about a classified memo that was a "smoking gun", proving Bush ignored explicit warnings that Al Qaeda was going to attack on 9/11. Complete crap.... Rice was right, the document was a "historical" review of Al Qaeda plots, he tried to ridicule her for this. She was completely corect. There is NOTHING in the memo that would have even remotely been helpful in preventing 9/11.

Wake up people, the Democrats are trying to score political points with the public testimony. this has NOTHING to do with "finding out the truth" or making the country a safer place. Ben Veniste was posturing for the camera and the public and attacking Bush for partisan gain.
this is great news for the Bush camp. Like many things in politics, these partisan attacks on Bush through the 9/11 commission will backfired. Public opinion abot Bush's handling of 9/11 have IMPROVED since Clarke testfied, improved more since Rice testified, and the release of this document showing the Dems on the 9/11 commission are trying to mislead the public will cause a further increase in support for the President.
