One of the best bands of the 90's, and perhaps all time. I'm listening to Siamese Dream right now and it's unreal how good this album is. Stuff like this just doesn't come out nowadays, everyone trying to have beats and noises pumped out by a computer but in doing so unfortunately seem to skip out on heart and soul. Listen to Today, Cherub Rock, or Silverfvck and tell me Billy Corgan isn't Jesus with a guitar.
 
Definitely a great band and I think we've even had a topic dedicated to that album before if I'm not mistaken. Dunno about greatest band of the 90s, but they're definitely up there.

I am listening to that same album right now after your recommendations in the "best album" thread. I think you missed the mark with the Belle and Sebastion thing though... but musical taste is personal.

One of my favorites. Gish, Siamese Dream, Pisces Iscariot and MCATIS are a big part of my teenage years. Never bought an album after MCATIS though.

Everyone jacks off over floyd and zeppelin, but I think they just spout off the names to make themselves sound cool. Don't get me wrong, I love some floyd. Ate shrooms and tripped to DSotM several times, but my god man. Siamese Dream is just so absolutely perfect.

I'd have to say that some Zeppelin just straight out pwnz Pumpkins. I still give them one of the better bands of the 90s hands down though.
 
I have Melancholy signed by the band and I shook Billy's hand too...but I have two friends who are your typical SP freaks, having seen them like 20+ times...crazy. Both of them spent some obscene amount of time camping out for their final show at the Metro.

bah....i have pink floyd playing 24/7 in my house...i have a playlist set up with every album they put out

i would get real sick of corgan after a couple days...i never sick of the floyd...well, syd barret can get obnoxious at times...but waters and gilmour rock

Love the Doors! Billy C is an ass, and I knew the band would tank when he said they were the best band ever....hahaha. Little bitch from Creed said the same crap and where are they now. Lead singer from Bush, Mr. Gavin said the same thing, what has he been doing lately besides boning Gwen?? And the one that takes the cake, fat ass Fred from Limp Dickskit.....what a tool!!

Led Zepplin is the greatest band ever!!
