I'm just looking to buy a new keyboard. I don't want anything fancy. I like white colour keyboards. Gaming ones mostly never come in this colour.

The question is the slim keyboard is good for gaming? If not any good white keyboard out there?

Are you looking for a 104 key keyboard? Tenkey less? Do you want a standard layout? And what country? Are you looking for island/chiclet/macbook style keys?

If you're ok with a more oldish laptop styled keyboard the cherry g84 is a pretty good option. There are lots of variants of it.

there are pictures of a cherry xs complete g84-5200 white, but I haven't been able to find any actually for sale in the US. It seems more common in europe though.

Yea full keyboard. Currently living in Russia.
First off I'd like to know if it's comfortable to play with flat keys at all haha

I've gamed on a laptop for a few years, and didn't notice any discomfort.
if you have a computer or office supply store, you could go in and try out their keyboards. They might have some slim keyboards like the logitech wireless ones you could try out.

whether it's comfortable or not is a personal opinion, though they should be similar to laptop keyboards if you've tried any.

i play quake / other twitch shooters and i have used a membrane keyboard, cherry mx mechanical keyboards, and low profile switch keyboards and they are identical. you just need a few days to get used to the new keyboard, after which there is basically no difference. (rubber dome keyboard do get old and when they do you need to replace them, but they are cheap, like 5~10euro)
if anything, i recommend tenkeyless keyboards because it leaves more space for the mouse to move, and nobody actually needs the numbpad.
