I felt my slk-900u was way overkill for my setup, and I must say I liked the temps a lot, I was getting around 29-30c idle and maybe 36-37c full load. Well, I sold my slk-900 and bought a sk-6+ instead, and I stuck a smart fan 2 on it and I'm getting 43-44c full load. Not sure if the ceramique I used made any difference, but I know that I can overclock the same, which is my 1700+ @ 2.2ghz 1.9v.

The t-bred "b" cores do seem to run very cool. Maximum overclocking doesn't require an outrageous or expensive cooling solution anymore. I just bought a new SiS 746 board and my AX7 didn't fit. So I spent $12 on a Spire FalconRockII and my 1700+ runs fine at 2300MHz.
