The Sixth Day: Anybody seen it?

I think that movie came out today, right? I really want to see this, it looks like a great movie. If anybody went to see it, how was it?

Also, has anybody seen Gladiator? I never saw it, and now I'm seeing advertisements on TV for it being available on tape/DVD. Would it be worthwhile to rent?

Yes, I saw The Sixth Day tonight and Gladiator in theatres in...May? June? Whenever it came out. The Sixth Day, I was actually pleasantly surprised. B+. Not a date movie, but a good "Movie for Guys Who Like Movies" Movie. And Gladiator was great...definately a must-see.

Just saw it...great plot, humor, tech gizmos, the future, arnold, violence, cloning, GREAT movie I give it A-, go see it. I love the future

I want to see 6th day because a lot of it was filmed at my school! The scene where a car goes rolling used the entire campus! It was also neat to see the Vancouver library get blown up in the movie trailer

I tried to go see it last night, but I missed the ONE showing that would have let me get home at a decent time by 15 minutes. The others would have put me home well after midnight, so I gave up. Just as well, though, I got to go home & talk to Sarah.

As it was, I only ended up with 4 hours of sleep anyway.

I read that Arnie nearly died doing that movie, when he swims underwater. They had practiced it numerous times, but without the light. When they did the take with the lights on he got disoriented and got stuck under the filming platform and was going the wrong way. If it wasn't for a diver he wouldn't be here today.
