I haven't watched the show in a while, but I'm watching both episodes that are on tonight, it's so pointless now, not even an attempt at a plot for the show. It's a string of stupid 10 second gags that aren't funny.

I haven't watched the Simpons in awhile. Last few episodes I saw were bad compared to the early ones.

The attention span of most ATOT'ers is only 10 seconds, so the Simpsons & ATOT are about right.

I stopped watching the Simpsons 2 years ago, and the Simpsons used to be my favorite show too! :(

Yeah, this has been going on for several years now. I keep hoping that they'll drag the show out of the rut it's in, but it doesn't seem likely anymore.

I agree. With all the guest star walk-ons it's starting to look like a bad redo of the Scooby-doo shows.

The visit to Britain one today was absolutely horrible. The plot consisted of, "Let's stuff as many British faces Americans are liable to recognize into one episode and call it a day."

The Simpsons' retirement is due. Let it go, Fox.

I'll second that. I didn't want the show to be cancelled when I heard they were going to cancel it but now I wish they would have, seeing the crap they've been churning out lately.

The day the Harlem Globetrotters or Don Knotts show up on The Simpsons I will turn it off for good. Then again a cameo from the crew in Speed Buggy might be nice.....that girl was always hot!!!!

i agree. what nonsense. what the hell happened to actually having funny, intelligent episodes where the plot actually has a point?

if i hear "macbeth" one more time im going to throw my shoe through the tv.

cancel simpsons. bring back family guy.

The funniest scene was when Lisa opened up the door to the penguin room and all of the penguins were flying around...then they see Lisa and stop...that was absolutely hilarious. Other than that, the shows sucked.

Gotta agree. Haven't seen new Simpsons eps in years, but I heard it was going down hill. Wish they'd have let it die after this season instead of trying to squeeze out another.

Ironically enough the year Simpsons is supposed to end Family Guy is scheduled to come back. Sweetness :)

people have been saying it's been going downhill for years now, and i've always disagreed, but these two episodes were a little thin, i've got to admit. i hope they get their act together.

The Simpsons has run out of gas for the last three years now, but since FOX has so few hits its likely to remain on air for years to come.

they just lucked out by not actually having Tony Blair on the show. If that was his actual voice, i would never watch a new simpsons episode again!

and why do they always do that whack a$$ "Wah?!?!?!" in surprise? I hated it when Moe did it, and i hate it when EVERY character does it.

AND WTF WAS UP WITH THE GAY ENGLISH GUYS KISSING?!?!?! that is the most desperate scene i've seen them do! FIRE YOUR GOD DAMN STAFF OF WRITERS AND GET SOME NEW ONES!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR FAMILY GUY!!! Seth, don't let us down!
