The Simpsons on DVD

Isn't about time for the entire collections of simpsons episodes to be released on dvd? Maybe a boxed set per season or something? I'd be all over that set, and I'm guessing lots of you would too! What do you think, will we see it before long?

I really cant think of a Simpsons episode that I didn't at least enjoy. They all werent the best, but I never found on that I wouldnt mind watching its rerun.

Except the older crappy animation years. I cant stand them AT ALL. The rough animation just completley kills it off for me. But anything from the stable animation years is at least watchable.

Well, ok, they don't HAVE to but releasing it on DVD before it's over wouldn't make much sense.

I don't think that it would happen anytime soon because it would really hurt syndication.

well x-files is still running and they've released all of season 1 on DVD. plus the season two DVD set is expected out in mid november.

Actually on DVD talk, this topic was covered. They are going to release them.... I forgot the details but its still a ways off....
