Wife got me this for Christmas... gave it to me a few days ago actually. It's pretty good. The game I would most compare it to is Lego Star Wars. Lots of simple puzzle solving sort of gameplay. It's a great co-op game, but I think it's local co-op only. The wife and I have been playing through the game together, and I like it a lot better than playing alone.

The demo really didn't do the game justice I think. The level that was in the demo was not one of the best IMO.

The game is also HILARIOUS. And it pokes fun at itself the whole time. The premise of the game is that the Simpsons are conscious of the fact that they're in a video game, so they make fun of video games the whole time.

I tried the demo and couldn't get into it. I didn't give it much play time but if a game doesn't grab me quick I move on to the next. (I'm talking to you Splinter Cell) ;)

I am a staunch Simpsons fan, but only plan to pick-up the full game when the price drops significantly. I wasn't impressed enough with the game play in the demo to pay more for it, than the Blu-ray of the movie.

Not really. No online multiplayer. The achievements are mostly related to playing through the levels to beat a certain time and collecting items throughout Springfield and the levels and finding video game cliches in each level (most of which you find without trying to).

It's not a game I would have bought myself, but I definitely enjoy playing it so I really do think it's worth a rent IF you like the relatively simplistic gameplay of the Lego Star Wars series.

I thought it was terrible. Seriously the Simpsons should've stopped what they were doing around 1999-2000 while they were ahead. The just should've rereleased the original arcade game with high res graphics.

I know this is a dead thread, but didn't feel like making a new one.

There's the option on the menu for DLC, but I can't find any news relating to it. Has anyone seen a story about the possible DLC, or has EA given up on the game?
