7:30PM Watched a re-run that I haven't seen before. Fell asleep.
8:00PM New episode. 5minutes into it, fell asleep.

What is this crap? The jokes are totally lame and the storyline doesn't flow like before. It just seems like it's thrown together with the sole intention of trying to crack jokes but end up being really really stupid. I know the Simpsons has gone downhill lately but geez at least make it worthwhile for the 300th episode.

I haven't seen a good new Simpsons episode in about 3 years, so I didn't have my hopes up.

There was one great line though..where Marge asks Lisa "How many times has your father done something dumb as this?" (or something like that). And Lisa has a clicker and goes "This would be 300." Then Marge says, "Really, I could swear it was 302".

I actually missed the last 3-4 minutes because I had to attend to something else, came back, saw that it was over, and didn't even care that I missed the end..

Ending was very weak on the first one and hated the second because im sick of Lisa the genius and morally correct type of episodes.

That was my favorite line of the episode. (for those of you that don't know, this was actually the 302nd episode)

so why was it labeled as the 300th?

Apparently Fox didn't count two holiday specials.

So I guess it would be the 300th regularly scheduled episode....or something like that

Glad I decided to nap through it again. The commercial with Homer and Tony Hawk fighting in mid-air with skateboards was enough to make me not want to watch it.

There have been funnier episodes, but how can you have an opinion based on 5 minutes of each one?

didnt seem that great for a 300th episode, as much as they had advertised it..

the one 3 weeks or so back was great though

The way the story was set up in the beginning was pretty lame. Bart out of nowhere starts hating homer and wants a divorce? Oh plz!

I watched the Rolling Stones' Rock n' Roll Camp episode again. That was one of the better episodes I think. The 300th was kind of weird, and the animation/artwork looked a little crappy compared to a couple seasons ago. They should just put the Simpsons to rest now.

c'mon, its pretty good considering the writers have had to come up with 300 different stories the past 14 years?

Best Part: When Homer eats the rib sandwich and they do a recreation of the Requiem for a Dream drug scenes.

Otherwise yeah, they could've done better.
