The Short Bus

how many people got to ride the short bus to school growing up? sadly that is an experience that i was never able to have.

I got to ride the short bus a couple of times. There were too many screams and noises and kids trying to play with my hair, so I begged my mom to drive me to school.

I rode a short bus, but that was because there were a bunch of us that were sent to a different high school than our normal zoned high school because we were in the Gifted & talented program. I don't think that quite counts, though.

I rode a van to school, but that was because i was going to the high school in the mornings when I should've been at the middle school.

don't forget your helmet!

this reminds me of 2 videos i saw once. i'm pretty sure i saw them online. one was a short bus driving by and liek half the kids had their faces smashed up against the windows and they were like licking the windows or something. was pretty funny. it may have been fake though.

the other one made me laugh so hard when i saw it. haha, and i'm laughing just thinking about it and i'll probably go to hell. you know how some schoolbuses have a video camera in them? well this was one of those buses and the bus hit a huge pothole or something and the kids fly up in the air and almost hit the ceiling. but the best part is this one little kid who pretty much does a somersault through the air and lands in the back of the bus. lmao, i gotta find that one again.

I never rode a school bus to school. Walked every day because I never lived more than a mile from any of my schools.

I was bummed, 'cause I kept seeing school buses on TV and wanted to ride them. I was surprised when I was finally old enough to meet people from other places who actually rode the bus. They all said they hated it.

I know a guy that rode the short bus because he got kicked out of my schoo lfor fighting and had to take the short bus to another school and participate in a special program for violent/troublesome kids. He did coem home 2 hours before the rest of us though so he had a much shorter day.

The other kid that rode a short bus was deaf and went to elementry school if I remember correctly.
