The shift key poll!!!

I use the shift key that is on the opposite side of the keyboard then the letter I am trying to type.

O = uses the left shift key
D = uses the right shift key

Depnds where my hand is atm of typing... generally the left if for regular use, and the right is used for names, forms...etc

always left...but if you're capitalizing something with your left hand you're supposed to use the right key...not sure where I picked up the habit of only using the left

left shift only

All my keys have little wear marks on them except for some barely used ones like the F keys (except for F5 😛) or scroll lock or whatever and that right shift key 😛

right key primarily, but i need to lose that habit. typing the underbar (_) key is beginning to give my hand cramps

I never use the Shift, Ctrl, Alt, or Windows keys on the right side.
ok...then how do you capitalize, use task manager, lock your computer and other necessary uses for those keys?
me? definently lefty. i never use the right one. don't know why, but i just picked up the habbit and i use it. much more comfortable.

I never use the right ones.... It's too hard to get used to it IMO... So I'm pretty much stuck with the left side 🙂.

Capitalize: pinky on the left shift, other fingers hit whatever I'm trying to capitalize.

Task manager: left thumb and pinky hold ctrl-alt, right hand for Del.

Lock computer: as I get up from my desk, I move my left hand down to the Windows key, pressing it with my forefinger, and hit "L" with the other hand.

Is only using the left shift a bad habit? Perhaps, but I can still type very quickly with no mistakes.
