Best show on TV. I think Whitaker will play a dual role of both Captain and Internal Affairs. And with 21 episodes, the show should go out with a bang 🙂

The Shield and 24 starting up in January and both Prison Break and The Sopranos coming back in March. Good, winter TV won't be a complete bust.

That's the reason for the 21 episodes, it's supposed to be the last season. But if FX dumps a ton of money on Shawn Ryan, then who knows. Shawn Ryan has a new show starting up soon on CBS called The Unit, so that would be another reason why he would be ending the show after this season.
