"The Shield" = best cop show ever!

This show keeps getting better with every episode. Everything is top notch--the scripts, the actors/actresses (hell even "Kangaroo Jack" Anthony Anderson shows talent!), the dialogue, the cinematography and storyboard work...everything. By far this is one of the best shows not on a premium cable channel. Keep in mind I've never seen HBO's "The Wire" so I can't compare the two, but I bet "The Shield" is just as good if not better.

Give this Shawn Ryan guy more work and a bigger budget--he deserves it.

OK just found out Shawn Ryan and David Mamet are teaming up on a new show called "The Unit" which chronicles the work and home life of a Special Forces unit!! The pilot will air in September 2005!

Only one problem...

It's on CBS!

It just isn't the same on network TV...

I just started watching at the beginning of Season 4. I purchased Season 1 on DVD and I am officially in love with Vic Mackey.

I just hope Fox doesn't decide to move The Shield from FX to Fox. It would kill the show.

Now that The Shield is almost done for the season, I can't wait for Rescue Me.
