The Secret of Coral Castle!!

What do you people think about coral castle. I saw a very interesting show about it on the discovery channel. If you dont already know, it was a castle which some guy owns, and he moved the entire castle (which is composed of bricks of coral weighing as much as 28 tons) by himself, and rebuilt it. He says he knows the secrets used by the egyptians in their construction of the pyramids, but many therorize that this man knows some undiscovered way of levitating objects. Check the link for some more info.

There really is no logical explanation of how he could move these bricks. What do you think?
Oh, and i should add that this guy is an expert on magnets, and conducts many experiments. hmm....

I saw that show too and it left me in awe. I wonder why more scientists and professors don't try to figure out what Leedskalnin knew, because I'm sure that knowledge could be beneficial.

Is Leedskalnin still alive?? I wish he would just tell me how he did it. I wouldn't mind knowing how to levitate 5 ton blocks.

kinda selfish for not allowing the world to know his discovery ..since now he is gone and this technology or knowledge is lost for the second time.

hmm... im not sure if the world would be ready for that. i dont even think we are evolved enough mentally for much of the technology we have today. i wish i knew how he did it though. 😀

I've seen it, too.

I think it is very naive to think that we "know everything". Just because there are fundamental laws of Physics and stuff that we have come up with and appear to be valid at this point in time doesen't mean they are the only answers.

Has anybody read The Secret Life of Your Cells by Robert B. Stone?

Very, very interesting.. Makes your brain hurt.

I think he used a method that most people, including scientists simply cannot comprehend.

Determination plus hard work, coupled with unusual intelligence.

IMHO, he used levers and simple tools and lots of time to move the big blocks. Using A frames or the like and smaller blocks to lift the larger blocks by using leverage. If you can wait 40 years to build it, it wont bother you to move them an inch at a time.

yeah, it turns with the slightest push, yet is incredibly heavy. maybe he did use pulleys, a-frame's... that seems like a HUGE amount of work by your self though.

Rather ordinary block and tackle, lever and pulley systems - plus a lot of time, determination, and hard work.

Essay about this is here:

Secret of Coral Castle

Pictures here (you can move really big things with a rig that size!)

(it isn't "magic" or alien technology - sorry folks, nothing unusual at work here - move along now 😉 )

How come nobody made reference to the stuff about magnets. If he was good with magnetic technology maybe he used that knowledge. Conceivably he could have used electric magnets and placed the blocks on magnetic sheets and it would look as if they were levitating and it would be easy to push, the only trouble would be keeping them straight but that could be corrected. I mean the electric trains that run on magnets are not a marvel of the world and the trains are much heavier than blocks of stone.
