Is to go a get a bucket or 2, then fill them up with water & them empty them upside down in the can at the same time as you flush. Just becare so the 'boa constrictor' doesn't float out of the can - you want to empty the buckets as quick as possible, but not too quick.
It works heaps better than multiple flushes, where useally each consecutive flush has no more effect than the previous flush. Plus you don't have to wate arround for the cistern tank to refill, between the consecutive flushes.
