Why is it irritating? He never said he comes up with these deals on his own. These are deals he finds on the net and then shares on the show. Of course he picks out the best deals from here or fatwallet etc. Should he say hey I get these deals from anandtech and fatwallet is that what you want. Do we want tons more newb people here flooding in? I would think no not really.

I think some of you are forgetting something. The fact that Kevin, AKA the "Dark Tipper" is actually ON TV is a good thing. Tell me how many other TV programs [begin all inclusive] geeks, computer users, younger techno folks, older techno folks etc, etc [/end all inclusive] have that actually show part of what we see and deal with?!?! So what if he grabs a few deals from FW? Heck, look around the AT HD forums and see how many posts are atributed to FW initially!
I think it's a positive thing. It's about time! Of course, the downside is that there could be some deals that get more than the "AT effect" because of this type of publicity. Oops! Nahh, they're always going to be a day or so behind so that probably won't come into effect on the best deals.
