I'm reading the first Science of the Discworld book. It's pretty cool because each chapter alternates between a story with the discworld characters (the wizards) and real life science.

It doesn't get too deep into the actual science stuff, but gives a basic background on different things and a little info on how they work, etc. What makes it interesting is that the science chapter corresponds with what happens in the story chapter. Right now they are discussing the elements and the periodic table and they make it fun, using funny examples or adding in funny comments.

One of the comments that made me LOL was when they were talking about satellites in space. It said something about being able to get intelligent signals beamed across the world, and failing that, at least MTV.
