Nah, no conspiracy. Just a really talented and standout dude who earned the roles for his ability to act in a way that is emotionally compelling. That's my belief about Mr. Baker. It's not surprising, in fact. Generally c speaking, voice acting in video games has been pretty campy up until now, but I believe that's beginning to change and will only get more and more depth as the industry continues to develop. It's exciting to watch.

Good voice acting makes a HUGE difference in immersion.

I chose to play the female Commander Shepard in the ME series specifically because Jennifer Hale was the voice actress.
