Here are our latest interaction through ebay over this sh|tty matter:

Please tell me what I should do to ask this guy to fvk off?

fustyducker1 02-Jan-07 at 07:15:51 EST

I do not accept your counter-offer. Deliver goods at contract price, or if you want release from contract, send estimated cost of buying replacement goods from an alternate source - $50 US. Airmail DOES NOT take weeks to deliver. Failure to implement one of these available options will result in mail fraud complaints to RCMP and Postmaster General.

Me 01-Jan-07 at 17:57:38 EST

Your refund is on the way back with full tracking, and signature on delivery. I?ve also kept all the documentations (copies of e-mail from the beginning, scans of your MO and my refund) All documentations on this refund are notarized. You will receive your tracking number for the refund
tomorrow.

Me 01-Jan-07 at 17:53:02 EST

Refunding you the $21.50 MO plus your postage fee of $0.15 is the most I can offer you. As mentioned before, ebay does not allow me to cancel the item 12 hours before closure. I?ve contacted you BEFORE bid closure that a mistake was made.

Lastly, you filed the ?item not received? dispute BEFORE I received your Money Order which is again contrary to ebay rules. Ebay will be on side since you tried
to extort $50 off me for a $1.5 part, and for a mistake that I?ve notified you much earlier.

Tell him to kiss off.

He has no case. Absolutely none. Mail him his refund, and don't even waste your time responding to him.

It is funny how quickly sellers bidding is a contract goes out the window when the seller decides they no longer like the contract.

If what you say is true, then he's a douche.

One of his negative feedbacks:

Seller: Warning: Refused to pay after winning! Is Rude, Threatening, and uses Profanity!
Reply by fustyducker1: Seller uses threats, extortion & retaliatory feedback - complaints filed w/eBay. Jul-27-02 11:01

I guess he learned how extortion works from that seller. Tell him to suck on a mapleleaf...

The OP said in another thread that he listed a set of speakers for sale, but accidentally listed 5 sets. He tried to cancel the auction when he noticed, but it was too late. He e-mailed the bidders before the auction ended to let them know that only the first bidder would get the speakers.

Yeah and? he no longer liked the deal so he backed out.

No different then a bidder thinking he has 100 dollars to spend but really only has 10.

No it is the same the bidderthe bidder can't pay what he does have, but would be expected to find some way to come up with the funds. Either getting a job, selling something, or taking out a loan.

The seller should be required to do the same find some way to come up with the item.

Yeah, that's part of eBay rules. However, if you make a mistake and list something multiple, then its pretty difficult to actually ship out the stuff you don't have...

Also feedback extortion is against ebay rules, you will get booted for that.

Who cares what he's threatening to do? He knowingly bid on something that you had already told him was a mistake, for the sole purpose of trying to extort money. If anything, you've got a better case for fraud than he does, since it was not within your power to change/cancel the auction at that point, best you could do was inform him of the mistake so he could withdraw his bid, or both of you could agree to let it drop.

Let him do whatever he wants, the RCMP will laugh at this, they've got better things to deal with.

Document, notify eBay, you've done all you can.

Except tell him to go take a flying f*ck at the moon.

Cheers!
