I've been wanting a set of the Klipsch Pro Media speakers for a while.
Knowing this, my wife gave me a Best Buy gift card for Christmas (she's young and nieve. She doens't know the evils). For valentine's day, she gave me more gift cards to finish off the price of the speakers.
Problem is, no Best Buy in the state has any. They refuse to sell me the display models as well. So here I am with over $200 in plastic, earning interest for them. The stores have absolutely no idea when they'll get more. I just have to call a couple times a week.
The odd thing is the website has them in stock. Great, I'll get it drop-shipped to the store and pick it up.
Nope, that's not an option. They only offer it for items in stock in the stores.
If I want the speakers, I have to pay $15 more for shipping. This wouldn't bother me if I were getting some sort of price cut on the speakers, but they're the same price as the store. That seems like a real rip-off to me.
What should I do? Should I wait for them to come in? Should I suck up my pride and common sense to buy them from the website and pay another $15? What I'd like to do is order them from Klipsch...but I have the damn cards.
