Too bad gray isn't a color.

Gray and all its shades are a combination of multiple colours, making it a colour in itself, no?

Gray is a tone, not a color. Red, Yellow and Blue are colors. Black, White and everything in between is the lack of color.

Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black are Inks.
Red, Green and Blue are light.

Color. Where is gray on the spectrum?

Why do people that are 100% colorblind still see in monotone?

Where is gray on the color wheel?

People tend to call it a color because it's easier than calling it "the lack of color", which is where the misconception that it is a color comes about.

It is achromatic, but it is still a color.

achromatic = lack of hue.

hue = cause of color.
Hue is another word for color.
