"The Sacrifice" L4D comic part 1 is out

I just noticed this and didn't see a thread about it already. I'm not into comics, at all, but I'm down with L4D so I'm checking it out. Just started into it.

They announced the DLC is coming October 5th. :thumbsup:

Great news, good to know. I hope the new campaign is better than Crash Course...

I think what will happen story wise is Bill ends up being infected so they have to break out and ultimately Bill decides to sacrifice himself. I may be reading too much into it, but page 22 of the comic shows him slouched and way tired, he's probably infected already, heh...

i thought the whole premise was the characters were immune so i'm not sure how bill can be infected?

It was a nice short read, brings back good memories of when L4D1 was the buzz, can't wait for the second part.

Not yet, it is probably why there are 4 parts.

My understanding is that this just leads up to the aforementioned event. The event itself takes place in the coming game update.
